Function Designation: Crisis, Conflict & Disaster Advisor

Key Responsibilities

1)       Assisting the management with general project planning and implementation (quality management, monitoring, communication and documentation)

2)       Supporting the management, implementing partners and external consultants in anchoring social services for both target groups (Afghan refugees and host communities)

3)       Knowledge sharing within the team about project management processes (planning, implementation and reporting) and tools of GIZ and Development Cooperation

4)       Exchange with other projects and other stakeholders working in the field of Afghan refugees and host communities 

Qualifications & Experience

1)      B.A./Master/MSc in an area related to the project objectives with a focus on a relevant field (psychology, social work, youth empowerment) in social science or similar field

2)      At least three (3) years working at community level and with young refugees, vulnerable groups in general

3)      At least three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in the field of organizing activities with young people based on their needs and expectations

4)      At least three (3) years working in the field psychosocial support (PSS)

5)      Experience in networking with non-governmental organizations, government agencies, universities and professional associations
