Function Designation: Procurement and Contract Management Specialist

 

 Key Responsibilities

1)       Preparation of tendering documents for procurement of goods and services 

2)      Filing documents of contract and procurement in reference files or DMS in line with GIZ’s filing system

3)      Dealing with all questions arising under procurement of goods & services from Country Office and HQ

4)      Identifying relevant problems and issues and assisting in formulating implementation-oriented solutions

5)      Coordinating effectively with the relevant sections of the GIZ Country Office

6)      Providing efficient support, monitoring and ensuring proper implementation of contracts in accordance with GIZ contractual & procurement procedures

7)      Ensuring quality assurance of all procurement of goods and services related documents in accordance with GIZ rules and regulations

Qualifications & Experience

1)       Masters’ in business administration, economics, finance or any other relevant field

2)      At least 5 years’ professional experience in a comparable position
