The Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore is a Public Sector University established under the Act-X of 2018 passed by the Punjab Assembly. The applications are invited from suitable candidates on Contract Basis on prescribed form available on the University’s Official Website (www.ptut.edu_pk) for appointment against the following posts from the candidates having domicile of Punjab Province, The requisite qualifications and experience against each post is given below:

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

Ph.D. in the relevant field from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission and fifteen research publications (with five publications in the last five years) in the journals recognized by Higher Education Commission with:

(a)     Fifteen years’ (with eight years post Ph.D.) teaching or research experience, in the relevant field, in a University recognized by Higher Education Commission, a postgraduate institution or national or international organization; or

(b)   Ten years’ post Ph.D. teaching or research experience, in the relevant field, in a University recognized by Higher Education Commission, a postgraduate institution, or national or international organization; or

(c)    Fifteen years’ professional experience (with eight years’ post Ph.D. and five years’ teaching experience), in the relevant field, in a national or international organization,

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

(a)    Ten years’ (with four years post Ph.D.) teaching or research experience, in the relevant field, in a University recognized by Higher Education Commission or a postgraduate institution, national or international organization; or

(b)   Five years’ post Ph.D. teaching or research experience, in the relevant field, in a University recognized by Higher Education Commission, a postgraduate institution, or national or international organization; or

(c)    Ten years professional experience (with four years’ post Ph.D. and two years teaching experience) in the relevant field in a national or international organization.

Treasurer (BPS 20) On Three (03) Years Tenure

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

CA, ACMA, MBA in Finance, M.Com. or M.A in Economics from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission with fifteen years audit or accounts experience in BS-17 and above or any equivalent position including five years experience in BPS-18 or above in Government or Semi Government, Corporate or Government Autonomous Bodies.

Director P&D (BPS 19)

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

Master's in Project Management or Business Administration relevant to Planning & Development (preference shall be given to those who have graduation with B.Sc or B.E in Civil Engineering from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission) and twelve years planning or development experience in Higher Education Commission recognized university in BS-17 or above or any equivalent position including five years’ experience in BS-18, should have executed at least one mega project of public sector organization in Government, Semi-Government, Corporate, Government Autonomous Bodies and he should have the following expertise:

a)      Preparation of documents required to hire consultant;

b)      Preparation of Tender or Bidding document;

c)       Overseeing project related management matters;

d)      Procurement;

e)      Administrative matters; and

f)        Coordination with client, consultant, contractors and other organization.

Assistant Treasurer (BPS 17)

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

ACMA, MBA in Finance, M.Com. or M.A. in Economics from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission or in Government, Semi Government, Corporate or Government Autonomous Bodies.

Laboratory Assistant (BPS 9)

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

Higher Secondary School Certificate with Science from a recognized Board or institution and with five years’ relevant experience in Government, Semi-Government, Corporate or Government Autonomous Bodies and well versed in use of computer.

Driver (BPS-05)

Minimum Qualification for Initial Recruitment:

a)      Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board or institution;

b)      HTV/LTV or SPV driving license; and :

c)       Five years’ experience of driving light or heavy vehicles, their maintenance and routine repairs in Government, Semi-Government, Corporate or Government Autonomous Bodies.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.       Eligible candidates should submit their application forms complete in all respect along with attested photocopies of all educational testimonials (i.e Degrees/Certificates/DMCs etc.), experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, two recent photographs, and original fee deposit receipt in the office of the Registrar PTUT Lahore on or before March 30, 2022 within office hours.

2.       Application fee for posts in BPS 17 & above is Rs. 2000/- and BPS 5 to 16 is Rs. 500/- which can be deposited online in any branch of Bank of Punjab In University's Account No. 6580064981000010 (Account Title Punjab Tianjin University of Technology, Lahore)

3.       Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad.

4.       Prescribed application forms can be downloaded from the University Website www.ptut.edu.pk

5.       Detail of relevant qualification and experience Is available on University website.

6.       Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date.

7.       Incomplete applications (in any case) or those received after due date shall also not be entertained.

8.      The candidates should attach a separate list of attached documents with signatures.

9.       Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA will be admissible for this purpose.

10.   The University reserves the rights to increase/decrease the number of posts, not to fill/withdraw any post, withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
